The turtles are nothing if not consistent. The picture to the left was taken first thing this morning and the gravel is dug out AGAIN. Sunday is there normal clean up day so I reset the pieces to MY liking, level the gravel and swap out some of the water. Makes it look just the way I LIKE.

They always have a different idea and are quite consistent at changing it back to what THEY LIKE asap. Now this can be aggravating at me as The Turtle Dad but give them credit they are always going to take the action to get it the way THEY LIKE.

Your marketing takes the same kind of consistent behavior. Unfortunately we don’t always do that.

Despite my best efforts the turtles love to dig and rearrange their environment. Occasionally I find the plants floating even though the stands were filled with gravel.

See piece by piece they move things to where they would like them. Even the heavy castle and hollow log get moved and even flipped over.

Amazing at their size how they do this but it happens. It happens because they keep moving one piece of gravel at a time. Now that is something they can easily do but it is not until they have continued to do this over time that they get the results they are looking for.

It is not immediate gratification. Moving one piece of the gravel won’t move the plant but eventually they get all the pieces moved and now the plant is no longer anchored and it floats and is no longer where they did not want it.

Your business is similar.

Doing one little thing does not get you the results you want. It takes sustained effort to get where you want to go. You need to continually add to what you are doing consistently.
