Turtles home has moved
By admin | February 15, 2009

Well my waiting to change the filter the other day turned into even more work than I thought it would. I did the change but the tank had gone bad and I could not recover it.
We had talked about moving them anyhow so today we totally emptied the tank and moved it into the office. The turtles and fish were not really happy with going into the small tank for an hour or so but it was necessary.
They are now here right next to my work station and this way I can learn even more from them.
Once they got all set up it did not take Gizmo long to decide that it was relaxation time and find his spot and stretch out both ends at the same time. Doesn’t look comfortable to me but I am not a turtle. As they do it all the time and stay there for a while I have to assume (a bad word I know) that it is quite comfortable for them.

They have adapted to change and this blog will need to adapt and become more active. After a long winded discussion (on my part they don’t talk yet) we (the turtles and I ) decided that we need to do more to show people why they should be looking to work for themselves in these troubling times.
See despite all the doom and gloom in the news there are real opportunities for those that have the desire and can make a commitment to their own business. Look for more shortly.
After all the physical work that it took me to get the kids moved and everything hooked up again I am tired even though the turtles aren’t. They are re-arranging things to suit them again with the tank. They never like the way I decorate and always need ot redo it.

Good to see you and the turtles made it through. Maybe being closer to you you will hear some of those nuggets of information they have been trying to pass along to you. That way you will have more to share with us.

Yes when they were in the living room I never heard the nails scratching the glass but do now. Who knows what else I will learn from them. Right now Gizzard is shedding big time and looks bad guess I feed him too much

Your right, we all need to ‘stay with the times’ online and be continualy addapting to the needs of our visitors.
Here’s an idea for you… Why not start a webcam for the turtles, so that we all can watch and learn at the same time.
Right by your computer is the perfect spot LOL

When I heard you were rearranging the turtles home at first I thought you might be fixing it up as a contingency plan, since you indicated that you didn’t have a dog house, and if you ever ran afoul of you wife you would have to move in with the turtles. Instead you once again come up with a useful moral of the story. Pretty turtleific!

Wow. Sounds like you prevented a disaster. Good work.
It’s amazing the new ‘sounds’ we hear when something new is introduced into our environment…
Looking forward to more turtle updates.
