Never too big to be eaten
By admin | May 18, 2009

After the last time the turtles went on a fish diet the gold fish got a lot more careful. After a month or so though that caution went away and the biggest one got aggressive again. When I would feed the turtles the fish would push them out of the way to get his share.
Yesterday that caught up with him and the turtles are back on a fish diet. Despite being bigger than the turtles it did not stop them from making a meal out of him.
Now it is not pleasant to see but it is the turtle’s nature to eat fish. Not sure what triggered it as my turtles are always well fed in fact maybe a bit too much at times but something set them off.
Now how does this apply to your marketing?
No matter how big you get in your niche there is always a potential turtle out there ready to eat you for lunch. It is one of the reasons that I spread the risk over multiple niches and am always testing out new ones.
I put together a report on how I go through and test out niches called Niche Affiliate System. It walks you through all the steps from…
- finding the niche
- locating good products
- discovering the hot buttons
- and much more
So that I can start by using other people’s products and find out exactly what the people in that niche want before I take the time and spend money to have my own product or products in that niche.
This allows me to build my list of customers while building relationships with the other players in the niche. Now when I am ready to create my product I am almost sure it will be successful instead of rolling the dice coming in.
Check out Niche Affiliate System and follow the steps and get going in more than one niche to have your risk spread before someone decides to go turtle on you and have you for lunch.

Mike, I’m a gambler at heart, and have rolled the dice a number of times. Spending a lot of time and effort on new niches where I thought I could succeed. I unfortunately have several niches where next to no one buys anything. I’ve read your book, (Thanks for the advance copy) and will be apply it step by step for my next effort. I can’t afford any more losers. Gad, its going to take some work to do it your way, but so did my blind alley forays. Next time, I want to know for sure my market is viable before I commit to it. Thanks for opening my eyes.

The more time you spent on researching your niche the more successful you become. The Niche Affiliate System guides you in this process.
And after that it becomes even easier to follow your last recommendation: “get going in more than one niche to have your risk spread before someone decides to go turtle on you”.
Thanks Mike.

Great advice! It’s always a lot easier down the road to do your testing research first, so that you can be sure your product will be something the market wants, instead of guessing.
