Extra work and it is my fault

By admin | February 10, 2009

No pictures today because I got lazy. Not about doing pictures but about changing out the filter. The top filter always gets noisy as it starts to clog up. The water flow slows and starts splashing in making noise instead of being a smooth flow. I know this but have been busy so I ignored it.

Well yesterday I cleaned it and replaced the filter medium because the tank had started to cloud. Had I changed it a week ago when it started there would be no problem. Instead even though I cleaned the filter yesterday the yellowing of the water continued. Now I have to do a major water replacement that would have been totally unnecessary if I had changed the filter medium when I knew I should have.

How often do you also do this with your business?

You know you need to build a list but are you?

You know you need to post your blog regularly but are you?

See when I post regularly, submit articles to the directories, comment on others blogs and continue to build my links my blog grows. The traffic increases and more people click on the links.

This adds commissions, subscribers and grows my business. The problem is when you don’t do the little things regularly you end up having to do major work to get back to what the little things were doing for you.

That was why I created 15 Minute Blog Traffic to show you exactly what to do regularly to grow your blog traffic and increase your business.

Otherwise you end up like I will be doing today doing a lot of work to get back what could easily be avoided with a 10 minute job last week. Do the little things regularly and increase your business a baby step at a time.

It is really amazing how that works. I had my blog going really good for a while and I neglected it for a short period. Even though it is doing good now I have to keep at it to get it back to where it was before. Constant and steady work will make a difference. I do not envy you for the cleaning job. Been there done that. Good luck.
