I noticed myself that it is difficult to keep a routine going. Maybe because there are so many routines to try, that when you start a new one you drop off an older routine and that might be a smart thing to do. Better decide on the best routines giving long term results and stick with them.

You’re right, Mike – far too many people get two or three articles out there and get discouraged when they don’t see a flood of traffic from them. First, one or two directories won’t do it – you need to use a service like you recommended to get them out all over the net.

Next, you need to continue to add to the number of articles you have out there – either set up a regular time each week to write one or two, or do them in batches when time permits. According to Willie Crawford, one of the top article marketers, you start to see major results in your niche once you have around 100 articles out there.

Sounds like a lot, but if you’re only writing 2 a week you have that many in your first year alone, and they can keep working for you, to an ever-growing audience, for years to come!

Your right, we can often slow down and start being "lazy" because we might not be seeing the fast results we would have liked. But like you said, we need to be consistent and keep going. Article submissions are great for added traffic, and they last a long time, thanks for the Content Crooner link.
